In 2024, the GREENEVA team contributed as authors to the publication “Guidelines for the Use of the Climate Vulnerability Index Data Information System (SIDIK) with Local Indicator Enrichment.” This publication serves as a practical reference for subnational governments and development stakeholders in conducting context-specific climate vulnerability assessments.

The guideline elaborates the application of Sistem Informasi Data Indeks Kerentanan (SIDIK) enhanced with locally relevant indicators to better capture region-specific biophysical, social, and economic conditions. It introduces a structured and quantitative approach to analyzing hazard, vulnerability, and risk, resulting in measurable vulnerability indices and spatial maps that inform prioritization of adaptation actions and their integration into regional development planning frameworks.

Developed through close collaboration with policymakers and development partners, the methodology and content are grounded in implementation experience in the northern coastal region of Central Java (Pantura). The guideline is designed to be operational and directly applicable, enabling users to move from assessment to actionable climate adaptation planning.
